Objective: Design and Build a hole in One mini golf hole!
Scenario: The International Day Committee have requested that our Design class design and create an international mini golf course for International Day!
Scenario: The International Day Committee have requested that our Design class design and create an international mini golf course for International Day!
Criterion A
1. Explain and justify the reason to why the committee might need to a build a mini golf course for International Day!
Answer- The committee will need a mini golf course because they want new ideas that represent ideas from all over the world and found golf courses built by students as a good idea so that students could have fun and be graded at the same time on the design cycle
2. Describe the main features of one existing product that inspires a solution to the problem
Answer- The main features of a golf course would be the hole which is very important as it is the only thing that shows victory. other features tat add life to the course would be the barriers, ramps and tunnels

Criterion B Developing Ideas
1. Develop a list of success criteria for the solution (which solution means to create a International Day Golf hole) Remember refer to your research table for supporting evidence. You can get that information from your research table from criterion A....
The specification for my mini golf course hole are:

the hole will be behind two ramps that will make it challenging to sink it

3. Present the chosen design
4. Create a planning drawing/diagram which outlines the main details for making the chosen solution
4. Create a planning drawing/diagram which outlines the main details for making the chosen solution
I have chosen this because it is what I think as the most appealing to the audience and will not exceed in toughness or prove to easy. The game will also be a game of chance and the individual skill due to the mixture of obstacles such as the blind tunnels and ramps. In order to provide internationalism, I will put names on the obstacles that relate to different countries such as the English caves for the tunnels.
Criterion C- Developing The Solution
1. Outline a plan, which considers the use of resources and time, sufficient for peers to be able to follow to create the solution (Shows your steps here of how you created the course from the start to finish, using pictures or video and captions)
Step one I first researched about different parts of the golf course in Criterion A. then I started looking at different designs of courses that I could be inspired from and the made a mind map that included all I will use
Step Two I completed Criterion B which involved in me looking individually at separate parts of the course. and then coming up with three final designs which I then picked one out of.
2.Demonstrate excellent technical skills when making the solution (do a quality job on your Mini Golf course)
3. Follow the plan to create the solution, which functions as intended list the changes made to the chosen design and plan when making the solution (list any changes that you made from mind map design stage)
I made a change in my design that I used after comparing my partner and my designs on the position of the ramps but because we ran out of time we had to resort to a tube.
4. Present the solution as a whole. (completed Mini Golf Hole)

Criterion D- Evaluation
Write a reflection on your journey of learning please refer to the rubric criterion below.
1. Describe detailed and relevant testing methods that you could use to test that it is working correctly.
2. Explain the success of the solution against the design specification
3. Describe how the website for learning could be improved
4. Describe how this can impact you in recording journey of learning to a higher level (Write one Paragraph answering these questions)
To test my course, I can ask various uninvolved volunteers to play my course and then take feedback from them. Then if I find anything then that the audience wants or prefers then we will have a better chance of improving the course to general approval. The golf course overall was a good show and made things very interesting for the audience. it was not too hard too score but challenging to get a hole in one. Also with its L shape and artificial grass it looked more inviting than most other straight ones. The website can be improved for learning by giving us more time to edit for improvements and mistakes because that way the road to a level 7-8 is clear. This can help me on the recording journey because then with this reflection I will know exactly what to improve for the next time and will do an even better job, by using the design cycle process.
